Why Being Lazy Isn’t a Bad Thing

Lying on the couch, binging Netflix with a large pizza and some ice cream at your reach; Sounds kinda nice right? So why is it that we’re always so hard on ourselves when it comes to being lazy. Is all the negative perception around it truly warranted?

We live in a world today where life is as busy as it gets. Juggling work, family, study, social commitments, the list of things to do just doesn’t stop! And through the busyness of these modern times, society seems to find favour with the hard working, non stop kind of person, and not the individual who sits back and enjoys doing nothing from time to time.

Now I’m not suggesting that we all should stop work, family responsibilities and life as it stands to just be lazy 24/7. But what I am suggesting is that we do take some time to do nothing at all in the midst of life, as it does come with huge benefits.
